The best Event I have ever witnessed

My place New Perungalathur which is not really disturbed by the urban culture though looking upto a tremendous development. There are people in Chennai who don't know my place. But surpirisingly last week everyone identified my place with a music concert event. So I visited the music concert on Sunday to understand what makes it so exciting. Believe me - I was surprised and thrilled. My cheers and thanks to Sri Sri Ravishankarji Maharaj. It was the Art of Living's Naadha Vaibhavam.

I am sure everyone of us have attended music concerts with a dozen people on stage playing instruments and a few top singers. But in this concert I saw 5700 singers on stage, from amateur to top singers, from ages 10 to 75. They announced that total attendance for the event was more than a lakh.
Believe me the best of event management I have ever witnessed in my life. With people finding it tough to organize 10 people for an event, 5700 singers and other musicians is just beyond my imagination but live before my eyes. More surprises on my way.

If one person can take the entire 1 lakh people + 6000 musicians to silence through meditation, it can be none other than Sri Ravishankarji Maharaj. 13 minutes of silence and encouraging discourse on standing against corrpution and evils against society, he also influenced people to reduce the wants of one and increase the responsibilities. My dad too said the same, but we need to pay for advises - I am no different from this. I have never seen such an inviting and contented smiling face in my life ever. I planned to spend just 10 minutes there as I had other works but was physically & mentally static for almost 2 hours. I salute and abide his statement on "Music and Meditation can take people to maturity and stand against Evil."

He claims if birds can sing, why not humans. Why not wakeup the singer in us who can equalize all our emotions and refresh our mind and body. I have started my "Abaswaram" and hope to fly in the "Swaram space" sometime in the near future.
